Tattoo's removed from anywhere on the body
Inglewood Laser and Aesthetics Plus uses a safe and effective method for tattoo removal for all skin types. Injecting colored ink into the top layers of your skin creates a tattoo. The ink is meant to be permanent but can be removed with the help of a pulse-laser.
We use a specially designed MedLite C6 laser that emits a light strong enough to break apart the ink particles embedded in the skin but sensitive enough not to cause damage. Once the ink is broken apart, white blood cells in your body attaches to the ink, clearing the skin of the tattoos' pigments and debris. The MedLite C6 laser can remove older tattoos, amateur tattoos, large and small tattoos in any color. Problematic colors of the past such as blue, green, and glow-in-the-dark are no longer an issue with the MedLite C6 laser.
Tattoo removal is available for any area of your body. Tattoos closer to your heart tend to fade faster because that area of the body receives more blood circulation, whereas a tattoo on your ankle, wrist, arm, or leg will take longer. During your consultation we will inform you of the suggested number of sessions based on our assessment prior to starting the removal process.
The overall tattoo removal process is different for everyone however, our goal is to make it as comfortable as possible during your treatment time with us. We apply a medical grade numbing cream and test the area prior to introducing the laser. Additionally we offer pain mitigation options such as lidocaine topicals, cool air and/or nitronox gas if needed.
The length of time for your tattoo removal session depends on the size of the tattoo being removed and tolerance to the procedure. Other factors that may affect your treatment time or amount of treatments needed. Type of ink used, mixed inks, color and age of your tattoo.
Dark colors are more easily removed and with fewer treatments. Lighter colors reflect more light, so the ink will take longer to remove. Glow-in-the-dark ink is considered the most difficult to remove. A minimum of six weeks between sessions is typically considered average. Removing any tattoo is a long process and will require more than one visit.
Mild to moderate discomfort is expected from the pulse laser. The skin can be itchy or have general soreness after treatment, however, over-the-counter pain relievers can be used. Post-treatment care instructions are provided to you to help minimize scarring or discomfort.
